I've been redlining for a while now
And I know that it's starting to show.
Been boarding red-eye flights every night,
While most are trying
To rest their proudly grounded eyes.
The sights,
Seep out of my pores,
The sounds,
A trembling from my throat.
My overexposed thoughts tumble,
Springing forth like hail from my torn mind,
Falling at the speed of darkness,
Hardly showing distress as they shatter,
Sharing my shame,
In their willing demise;
Curled up in the ruins of my memory,
Strewn upon her Bloodstained floor.
There I lay and fade out,
And Fade in to this reality.
Sleepless,
Here i lay and mourn.
