My Dark Horizon
there aint no camoflauge for you,
you stick out like the sorest of thumbs.
its all strobe-lit and fog-machined,
but i see straight through to you
like ive already calculated
the sum total of our losses.
you move like lightning-
streaking across my dark horizon.
ive heard it dont strike the same spot
twice,
but ive the type of luck
meant to be struck down by your eyes.
bury my body in your ground,
why
dont you just bury my roads
deeper into your town
tonight.
there aint no camoflauge for you,
in them black heels,
parading your madness across
this city's loneliest tables.
no glitter drenched mask of yours
could keep my bitterly chapped lips
from cracking the code,
and breaking straight into your core.
you move like lightning
streaking across my dark horizon.
ive heard it dont strike the same spot
twice,
but ive the type of luck
meant to be struck down by your eyes.
bury my body in your ground
why
dont you just bury my roads
deeper into your town
tonight.
